Owen is Two Months Old!

Baby Boy,

Words cannot express how much mommy and daddy love you. We treasure each day we share with you! You're second month was nothing short of special. We've had a lot of fun and have made some very sweet memories.

This month we were blessed to welcome your sweet cousin Eisley into the world! She was born on September 26th, 2014. She is just beautiful and we know that you two will be great buddies being so close in age. We find it kind of funny that you were due just 5 days apart, but were born 5 weeks apart! Here is your first picture together!

This weekend was also the first time your Uncle Jonathan, Aunt Rachel, and Aunt Jennifer got to hold you. Because you were born early, only mommy and daddy were able to hold you for your first ten days.

Here is your Aunt Jenn holding you and Eisley! The weekend Eisley was born was Aunt Jenn's first time to meet you as well!

Your second month was full of fun times at home with mommy. Baby boy, I can't tell you enough how grateful I've been to have these first few months off with you. The time we have spent together is so valuable and special. Here is a picture of you and I on one of our many days together.

 I don't have a picture of you with mommy and daddy, but this was you when we went on our first lunch date with daddy. We met him at On The Border and spent some time with him, because he was missing you pretty badly.

Your Aunt Brittany and Uncle Rodney made a trip down to Malvern to come hold you for the very first time. They couldn't wait to see you! 

They both seemed a little nervous to hold you at first, but they were naturals! 

This photo was taken right before Uncle Rod and Aunt B had to leave. You got pretty upset when you realized they were leaving.

 Nearly every Saturday we dressed you up in Razorback clothes! This season hasn't been their best, but the McCrary household doesn't have fair-weather fans! One Saturday you and your best friend Connor Hill showed up to church wearing the same razorback shirt. I know this is the beginning of many special memories between you two.

Special facts from your second month are:

• You now weigh 10lbs 7.6 oz-- this is double your birth weight!
• You are eating 4oz of breastmilk every feeding. This is also double what you were eating when you left the hospital. 
• You are only up twice a night. Your bedtime is at 8pm every night and you normally don't wake up until 12:30 then again around 3:30. 
• Your favorite activities are bath time and swinging in your swing. 
• You still wear some newborn clothes, but have started moving up to the 0-3 month size. 
• You now wear size one diapers. 

The first two months have gone by way too quickly. You are truly a bundle of joy and we are enjoying every second of you growing. Each day you amaze us with something new. You have filled our lives with such amazing memories and love and we can't wait to see what month 3 has in store!
